باب ما جاء في تحريق متاع الغال وعقوبته
Burning property of embezzlers and their punishment
Hadith Number: 1082
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، قال: ثنا علي بن بحر القطان ، قال: ثنا الوليد بن مسلم ، قال: ثنا زهير بن محمد ، عن عمرو بن شعيب، عن ابيه ، عن جده رضي الله عنه، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وابا بكر، وعمر رضي الله عنهما ضربوا الغال بالسوط، وحرقوا متاعه، ومنعوه سهمه" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) punished the betrayer with lashes, burned his belongings, and withheld his share.
