بَابُ تَأْوِيلِ إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ
Interpretation of "When You Stand for Prayer"

نا نا إبراهيم بن حماد، نا عباس بن يزيد، نا بشر بن عمر، نا مالك، عن زيد بن اسلم:" إذا قمتم إلى الصلاة فاغسلوا وجوهكم سورة المائدة آية 6، قال: يعني إذا قمتم من النوم" .
Zaid bin Aslam narrates: (The command of Allah, the Exalted, is:) "When you stand for prayer, then wash your faces." Zaid bin Aslam says: This means, when you wake up from sleep.

نا نا جعفر بن محمد بن نصير، نا الحسن بن علي بن شبيب، نا داود بن رشيد، نا الوليد، عن مالك بن انس، عن زيد بن اسلم، في قوله تعالى:" يايها الذين آمنوا إذا قمتم إلى الصلاة سورة المائدة آية 6، قال: إذا قمتم من النوم" .
Imam Malik bin Anas has narrated the statement of Zaid bin Aslam regarding the saying of Allah Almighty: (The command of Allah Almighty is:) "O you who believe! When you stand for prayer." Zaid bin Aslam states: What is meant by this is: When you wake up from sleep (then perform ablution).
