بَابُ جَوَازِ الْعَمَلِ الْقَلِيلِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَمَا يَلْزَمُ الْمُغْمَى عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْقَضَاءِ وَوَقْتِ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِ
Chapter on the permissibility of minor actions in prayer, what is required of one who faints regarding making up prayers, and the time for voluntary prayer

حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد العزيز ، ثنا محمد بن حميد ، ثنا حكام بن سلم ، عن عنبسة ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، قالت:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي، فإذا استفتح إنسان الباب فتح له ما كان في قبلته، او عن يمينه او عن يساره، ولا يستدبر القبلة" .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be performing prayer, and if someone knocked at the door during that time, if the door was in front of him or to his right or to his left, he (peace be upon him) would open the door. However, he would not open the door by turning his back towards the Qiblah (by turning his face in that direction).

حدثنا عبد الله بن سليمان بن الاشعث ، ثنا عمي ، ثنا مسدد ، ثنا بشر بن المفضل ، عن برد ، عن الزهري ، عن عروة ، عن عائشة ، قالت:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي والباب عليه مغلق فجئت فاستفتحت، فمشى ففتح لي، ثم رجع إلى مصلاه"، وذكرت ان الباب كان في القبلة .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sometimes the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would be performing prayer and the door would be closed. I would come during that time and ask for the door to be opened, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) would walk over and open the door for me, then he would return to his prayer mat. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned that the door was in the direction of the Qiblah.

حدثنا ابن ابي داود ، ثنا عمي ، وشاذان ، قالا: نا حجاج ، ثنا حماد ، عن برد ابي العلاء ، عن الزهري ، عن عروة ، عن عائشة، قالت:" استفتحت الباب ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قائم يصلي، فمشى عن يمينه او عن شماله ففتح لي، ثم عاد إلى مقامه" .
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I would ask to open the door while the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was performing standing voluntary prayers at that time, so he (peace be upon him) would come from his right or left side and open the door, and then return to his place.
