Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to look to the right and to the left during prayer, but he would not turn his neck to look behind his back. In narrating this as a connected (muttasil) narration, the narrator named Fadl bin Musa is unique. Other narrators have transmitted it as a mursal narration.

Abdullah bin Saeed narrates through his chain of transmission: The Noble Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to glance here and there during prayer without turning his neck.
