Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a fasting person forgetfully eats or drinks, then this is sustenance which Allah Almighty has provided for him; there is no making up (qada) required for that person." Its chain is authentic and all its narrators are trustworthy.

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When someone, during the month of Ramadan (while fasting), forgetfully eats something, then making up (qada) is not obligatory upon him, nor is expiation (kaffarah) obligatory upon him." In narrating this tradition, the narrator named Muhammad bin Marzuq is unique, and he is trustworthy; he is the same one who narrated this tradition from Muhammad bin Abdullah Ansari.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If any of you (during the month of Ramadan) forgetfully eats something or forgetfully drinks something, then there is no making up (qada) required for him; he should complete his fast, for it is Allah Almighty who has fed him and given him drink."

This same narration is also reported from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) through another chain of transmission; the narrator of this narration, Ammar, is weak.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully (while fasting), let him continue his fast; there is no making up required for him." The narrator of this narration, Nadr bin Tarif Abu Juzi, is weak.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever, during Ramadan (while fasting), forgetfully eats or drinks something, then he should complete his fast; there is no need to make it up." This narrator, or another narrator besides him, has narrated these words: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has fed you and given you drink." The narrator named Yaseen is weak, and the narrator named Abdullah bin Saeed is also similarly (weak).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully (while fasting), then this is sustenance that Allah Almighty has granted him. That person should complete his fast and there is no need to make up (qada) for it." Both narrators of this narration, Mandil and Abdullah bin Sa'id, are weak.

Waleed bin Abdur Rahman narrates: He heard Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioning that he forgotfully ate something on the first day of Ramadan while fasting. He narrates: I mentioned this to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace be upon him) said: "Complete your fast, indeed Allah Almighty has fed you and given you drink, and there is no make-up (qada) required upon you."

This same narration is also transmitted from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) with another chain of transmission. The narrator of this narration is Hakam bin Abdullah, who is the grandson of Ibn Sa'd Aili, and he is weak.

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully, he should not break his fast, for it is sustenance that Allah Almighty has provided for him."
