Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A woman in ihram will keep her face uncovered."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A woman in ihram will keep her face uncovered, and a man in ihram will keep his head uncovered."

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: We (women) set out with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and we were in the state of Ihram. When some riders would pass by us, we would draw our garments in front of our faces.

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: We were with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and we were in the state of Ihram. When we encountered a rider, we would lower the cloth on our heads in front of our faces, and when he had passed by, we would remove it.

Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him), and we were in the state of ihram. Whenever a rider would pass by us, a woman would lower the cloth on her head over her face.

Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man fell from his camel while he was in the state of Ihram, and he passed away. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave the following instruction regarding him: "He should be shrouded in his two garments, he should be given a bath, but his face should not be covered, nor should any perfume be applied to him. He will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment reciting the Talbiyah."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: It is not obligatory for women to perform ramal (brisk walking) during the circumambulation of the House of Allah (Ka'bah) and the sa'i between Safa and Marwah.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A woman will not ascend completely to the top of Safa and Marwah, and she will not raise her voice while reciting the Talbiyah. In another narration, only these words are mentioned: A woman will not ascend to the top of Safa and Marwah.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: During the Tawaf of the House of Allah and running between Safa and Marwah, it is not obligatory upon women (i.e., this ruling is not for them).
