بَابُ حُجَّةِ مَنْ كَفَّرَ تَارِكَ الصَّلَاةِ
Chapter on the Evidence of Those Who Declare the One Who Abandons Prayer a Disbeliever
Hadith Number: 1088
عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول: ((بين العبد وبين الكفر او الشرك ترك الصلاة))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Between a servant and disbelief or polytheism is the abandonment of prayer.

Hadith Number: 1089
عن عبد الله بن بريدة عن ابيه رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول: ((العهد الذي بيننا وبينهم الصلاة، فمن تركها فقد كفر))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The covenant between us and them is the prayer; whoever abandons it has surely committed disbelief.

Hadith Number: 1090
عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم انه ذكر الصلاة يوما فقال: ((من حافظ عليها كانت له نورا وبرهانا ونجاة يوم القيامة، ومن لم يحافظ عليها لم يكن له نور ولا برهان ولا نجاة وكان يوم القيامة مع قارون وفرعون وهامان وابي بن خلف))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned prayer one day and said: Whoever guards the prayer properly, it will be for him a light, a proof, and salvation on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever does not guard it properly, then on the Day of Resurrection it will be neither a light for him, nor a proof, nor salvation, and such a person will be with Qarun, Pharaoh, Haman, and Ubayy bin Khalaf.
