Hadith Number: 1690
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ruku, he would say: "O Allah! For You I have bowed, in You I have believed, and to You I have submitted. You are my Lord. My hearing, my sight, my mind, my bones, my nerves, and whatever my foot has supported itself with—all have humbled themselves for Allah, the Lord of the worlds."

Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ruku and in ruku said: "Subhana Rabbiyal Azim." Then he raised his head and praised Allah Almighty for as long as He willed. Then he performed sajdah and in sajdah said: "Subhana Rabbiyal A'la." Then he raised his head and between the two prostrations made this supplication: "Rabbighfir li, warhamni, wajburni, warfa'ni, warzuqni, wahdini." (O my Lord! Forgive me, have mercy on me, mend my shortcomings, elevate me, provide for me, and guide me.)
