Hadith Number: 1754
Abu Qalabah says: Sayyiduna Abu Sulayman Malik bin Huwayrith (may Allah be pleased with him) came to our mosque and said: By Allah! I will certainly pray, although I do not intend to pray; I only want to show you how I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying. Then he (prayed and in it) when he raised his head from the second prostration of the first rak‘ah, he sat down once, then stood up (for the second rak‘ah).

Hadith Number: 1755
. (Second chain) A similar hadith is narrated, except that it also contains: Abu Qilabah says: So they prayed in the manner of our Shaykh, Sayyiduna Amr bin Salamah al-Jarmi, may Allah be pleased with him, who used to lead prayers during the Prophetic era. Ayyub says: I saw Amr bin Salamah doing something which I do not see you people doing; when he would rise from the two prostrations, he would sit straight and then stand up for the first and third rak‘ah.
