أَبْوَابُ الْأَذْ كَارِ الْوَارِدَةِ عَقْبَ الصَّلَاةِ

بَابُ كَرَاهَةِ الصَّلَاةِ بِالِاسْتِمَالِ وَالسَّدْلِ وَالْإِسْبَالِ وَفِي تَوْبٍ لَهُ أَعْلَامٌ وَفِي مَلَاحِفِ النِّسَاءِ
Chapter on the Dislike of Praying with a Cloak, Draped Garment, Hanging Garment, or in a Garment with Markings or Women's Wraps
Hadith Number: 1927
عن ابي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عن لبستين وعن بيعتين، اما البيعتان الملامسة والمنابذة، واللبستان اشتمال الصماء والاحتباء في ثوب واحد ليس على فرجه منه شيء
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two types of clothing and two types of transactions. The two transactions are mulamasa and munabadhah, and the two types of clothing are: fastening a mute buckle and wrapping oneself in a single garment in such a way that one's private parts are not covered by any cloth.

Hadith Number: 1928
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عن السدل يعني في الصلاة
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) forbade Sadl in prayer.

Hadith Number: 1929
عن عطاء بن يسار عن بعض اصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: بينما رجل يصلي وهو مسبل إزاره إذ قال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((اذهب فتوضا)) قال: فذهب فتوضا، ثم جاء فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((اذهب فتوضا)) قال: فذهب فتوضا ثم جاء فقال له رجل: ما لك يا رسول الله! ما لك امرته يتوضا ثم سكت؟ قال: ((إنه كان يصلي وهو مسبل إزاره وإن الله عز وجل لا يقبل صلاة عبد مسبل إزاره))
A companion of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once a man was performing prayer while his lower garment (was hanging below his ankles). Suddenly, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Go and perform ablution. So he went, performed ablution, and returned, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said: Go and perform ablution. Then he went, performed ablution, and returned. Meanwhile, a man said: O Messenger of Allah! What is the reason that you commanded him, he performed ablution and returned, and then you remained silent? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He was praying in such a state that his lower garment was hanging down, and Allah Almighty does not accept the prayer of a man who lets his lower garment hang (below the ankles).

Hadith Number: 1930
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم صلى في خميصة لها اعلام، فلما قضى صلاته قال: ((شغلني اعلامها، اذهبوا بها إلى ابي جهم واتوني بانبجانية))
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in a cloak with designs on it. When he completed the prayer, he said: Its designs began to distract me, so take it to Abu Jahm and bring me the plain Anbijani cloth.

Hadith Number: 1931
(وعنه من طريق ثان) قالت: كان للنبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم خميصة فاعطاها ابا جهم واخذ انبجانية له، فقالوا: يا رسول الله! إن الخميصة هي خير من الانبجانية، قالت: فقال: ((إني كنت انظر إلى علمها في الصلاة))
(Second chain) She says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a cloak with designs on it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) gave it to Abu Jaham and took from him a plain cloak. People said: O Messenger of Allah! Surely the cloak with designs was better than the plain one, (why did you return it?) He replied: Surely, I used to look at its designs during prayer.

Hadith Number: 1932
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني ابي ثنا عفان قال ثنا همام قال ثنا قتادة عن ابن سيرين ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كره الصلاة في ملاحف النساء قال قتادة وحدثني إما قال كثير وإما قال عبد ربه شك همام عن ابي عياض عن عائشة ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم صلى وعليه مرط من صوف لعائشة عليها بعضه وعليه بعضه
Ibn Sirin says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked performing prayer in women's shawls. Abu Ayyaz says that it is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer in such a state that he was covered with a woolen shawl of Aisha; part of it was on Aisha and part of it was on him.
