Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Umrah, we were with him. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Tawaf, we also performed Tawaf with him, and when he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed, we also prayed with him. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Sa’i between Safa and Marwah. During this, we surrounded him (peace and blessings be upon him) so that the people of Makkah would not harm him (peace and blessings be upon him).

Ismail bin Abi Khalid says: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the House of Allah (the Ka'bah) on the occasion of 'Umrah? He said: No.
