Meanwhile, a Bedouin came and said: O Muhammad! Give me something. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No, and I seek forgiveness from Allah. He pulled the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which caused a scratch to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The companions wanted to do something to him, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Leave him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him something. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would also swear in these words: Lā wa astaghfirullāh (No, and I seek forgiveness from Allah).

It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him. This is a lengthy hadith, in which the incident of the last person to come out of Hell is mentioned. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: One man will remain; when he turns his face towards the Fire, he will say: O my Lord! The foul air of the Fire has harmed me and its blaze has burnt me, so turn my face away from it. Then he will continue to supplicate to Allah Almighty until Allah says: Perhaps if I grant you this, you will begin to ask Me for something else? He will say: No, by Your honor! I will not ask You for anything else besides this... .
