بَاب تَحْرِيم قَتْلِ الْمُعَاهِدِ وَأَهْلِ اللمَّةِ وَالتَّشْدِيدِ فِي ذلِكَ
Chapter: Prohibition of killing a non-Muslim under covenant and people of the protected community, and strictness regarding that
Hadith Number: 6466
عن عبد الله بن عمرو قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((من قتل قتيلا من اهل الذمة لم يرح رائحة الجنة وإن ريحها ليوجد من مسيرة اربعين عاما))
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever kills a person from among those with whom there is a treaty, will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance is perceived from a distance of forty years.

Hadith Number: 6467
عن هلال بن يساف عن رجل عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((سيكون قوم لهم عهد فمن قتل رجلا منهم لم يرح رائحة الجنة وإن ريحها ليوجد من مسيرة سبعين عاما))
Hilal bin Yasaf narrates from a companion that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Soon there will come such nations with whom you will have treaties; whoever among you kills any one of them will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise, and indeed the fragrance of Paradise is found at a distance of seventy years.

Hadith Number: 6468
عن ابي بكرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((من قتل نفسا معاهدة بغير حلها حرم الله عليه الجنة ان يجد ريحها))
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever kills a person under a treaty without any justification, Allah will make the fragrance of Paradise forbidden for him.

Hadith Number: 6469
(وعنه من طريق ثان) قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول: ((إن ريح الجنة يوجد من مسيرة مائة عام، وما من عبد يقتل نفسا معاهدة إلا حرم الله تبارك وتعالى عليه الجنة ورائحتها ان يجدها)) قال ابو بكرة: اصم الله اذني إن لم اكن سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقولها
(Second Chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, the fragrance of Paradise is found at a distance of one hundred years, and whoever kills a person with whom there is a treaty, Allah Almighty will make Paradise and the fragrance of Paradise forbidden for him. Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If I did not hear this hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), may Allah make my ears deaf.
