Interpretation from Surah Al-Qasas to Surah Al-Ahqaf
بَابُ: «قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَكَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ»
Chapter: "Say: Have you considered: if it is from Allah and you disbelieved in it"
Hadith Number: 8749
عن سفيان حدثنا صفوان بن سليم عن ابي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال سفيان لا اعلمه إلا عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم {او آثارة من علم} [الاحقاف: 4] قال ((الخط))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that Imam Sufyan says: It is my opinion that this narration is transmitted from the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he, peace and blessings be upon him, said regarding {أَ وْ أَ ثَارَۃٍ مِنْ عِلْمٍ}: It refers to a letter.
