بَابُ الترغيب فِي الإِحْسَانِ إِلَى الْجَارِ
Chapter on encouragement to be kind to neighbors
Hadith Number: 9080
عن ابي امامة رضي الله عنه قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يوصي بالجار حتى ظننت انه سيورثه
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He (i.e., Jibril) advised me so much about the neighbor that I began to think he would make him my heir.

حكم: صحيح لغيره
Hadith Number: 9081
عن عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال خير الاصحاب عند الله خيرهم لصاحبه وخير الجيران عند الله خيرهم لجاره
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best companion in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his companion, and the best neighbor in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his neighbor.

حكم: اسناده قوي علي شرط مسلم
Hadith Number: 9082
عن ابي ذر رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال له يا ابا ذر إذا طبخت فاكثر المرقة وتعاهد جيرانك او اقسم بين جيرانك
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Dharr! When you cook a broth-based stew, increase its broth and take care of your neighbors, or (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said) distribute it among your neighbors.

Hadith Number: 9083
عن عمر رضي الله عنه قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقول لا يشبع الرجل دون جاره
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person is not satiated except with his neighbor.
