بَابُ التَّرْغِيْبِ فِي عَظْمِ الْغَيْظِ وَعَدْمِ الْغَضَبِ
Chapter on encouragement to suppress anger and avoid rage
Hadith Number: 9179
عن عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما انه سال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ما ذا يباعدني من غضب الله عز وجل قال ((لا تغضب))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "What thing can keep me away from the wrath of Allah Almighty?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Do not become angry."
