Chapter: What has been reported regarding Hatim al-Tai
Hadith Number: 10447
عن عدي بن حاتم رضي الله عنه قال قلت يا رسول الله إن ابي كان يصل الرحم ويقري الضيف ويفعل كذا قال إن اباك اراد شيئا فادركه
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Indeed, my father used to maintain ties of kinship, honor guests, and perform many other deeds." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your father attained what he intended."
