كِتَابُ التَّفْسِيرِ
Book of Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis)
الْآيَةُ (82) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَلْيَضْحَكُوا قَلِيلا وَلْيَبْكُوا كَثِيرًا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ}
Verse (82) His saying, Exalted is He: {So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn}
Hadith Number: 1028
نا ابو معاوية، عن إسماعيل بن سميع، عن ابي رزين، في قوله عز وجل: فليضحكوا قليلا وليبكوا كثيرا سورة التوبة آية 82 قال:" الدنيا قليل، فليضحكوا فيها ما شاءوا، فإذا صاروا إلى الآخرة بكوا بكاء لا ينقطع، فذلك الكثير" .
Abu Razin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The world is little, so laugh as much as you want in the world, then when you reach the Hereafter there will be such weeping that will never end, and this is the great weeping that has been mentioned.
