الْآيَتَانِ (52 - 53) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {ذَلِكَ لِيَعْلَمَ أَنِّي لَمْ أَخُنْهُ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَنَّ اللهَ لا يَهْدِي كَيْدَ الْخَائِنِينَ * وَمَا أُبَرِّئُ نَفْسِي إِنَّ النَّفْسَ لأَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ}
Verses (52 - 53) His saying, Exalted is He: {That is so he will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allah does not guide the plan of betrayers. * And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil}
Hadith Number: 1128
Hakeem bin Jabir, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Sayyiduna Yusuf, peace be upon him, said:“That is so he may know that I did not betray him in his absence”(__QUR_N__), meaning: this is so that he may know that I did not betray him when he was not present. Jibreel, peace be upon him, said to him: And not at the time when you intended? So he said:“And I do not acquit myself; indeed, the soul is ever commanding to evil”(__QUR_N__), meaning: and I do not declare myself innocent, surely the soul greatly commands evil.
