Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
كِتَابُ الطَّلَاقِ
Book of Divorce
قَالَ: وَقَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «مِنْ يَوْمِ تُوُفِّيَ»
He said: And Jabir ibn Zayd and Ibn Abbas said: "From the day he died."
Hadith Number: 1200
نا هشيم، قال: انا مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، قال: " العدة من يوم مات او طلق" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The waiting period ('iddah) will be counted from the day of death or divorce.

نا هشيم، قال: انا مغيرة، والشيباني، عن الشعبي، قال مثل ذلك.
Hazrat Aamir Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The waiting period (iddah) will be counted from the day of divorce or death.

Hadith Number: 1202
نا هشيم، قال انا يونس، عن الحسن , في رجل طلق امراته عند كل حيضة، قال:" عدتها من الطلاق الاول ما لم تكن مراجعة" .
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, said: If someone gives a divorce at every menstrual period, the waiting period (‘iddah) will be counted from the first divorce, as long as he has not taken her back.

نا هشيم، عن خالد، عن ابي قلابة، وعبيدة، عن إبراهيم، ومحمد بن سالم، عن الشعبي، قالوا مثل ذلك.
Hazrat Abu Qilabah, Ubaidah, Ibrahim Nakha'i, and 'Amir Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on them) also said the same.

نا هشيم، عن خالد، قال: انا مغيرة، عن إبراهيم، قال: " تعتد من الطلاق الاول" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The waiting period (iddah) will be counted from the first divorce.

نا هشيم، قال: انا خالد، عن ابي معشر، عن إبراهيم، مثل قول الحسن , وابي قلابة.
The statement of Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) is in accordance with the statement of Hasan Basri and Abu Qilabah (may Allah have mercy on them).

Hadith Number: 1206
نا هشيم، قال: انا يونس بن عبيد، عن عطاء بن ابي رباح، قال: " تعتد من الطلاق الاول وإن راجعها ما لم يجامعها" .
Hazrat Ata bin Abi Rabah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The waiting period (‘iddah) will be from the first divorce, whether reconciliation was made or not, as long as intercourse has not taken place.

نا نا هشيم، قال: انا اشعث، ومحمد بن سالم، عن الشعبي، ان ابن مسعود ، قال: " العدة من يوم مات او طلق" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The waiting period ('iddah) is counted from the day of death or divorce.

نا هشيم، قال: انا حصين، عن الشعبي، عن مسروق، قال: " العدة من يوم مات او طلق" .
Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The waiting period (‘iddah) is counted from the day of death or divorce.

Hazrat Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) also narrated this statement.
