كِتَابُ الْجِهَادِ
Book of Jihad
بَابُ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Chapter on one whose feet are covered with dust in the cause of Allah
Hadith Number: 2401
نا خالد بن عبد الله ، عن سهيل بن ابي صالح ، عن صفوان بن ابي يزيد ، عن القعقاع بن اللجلاج ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يجتمع غبار في سبيل الله ودخان جهنم في جوف عبد، ولا يجتمع الشح والإيمان في جوف عبد ابدا" .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The dust raised in the way of Allah and the smoke of Hell can never be gathered together in the chest of any servant. Nor can miserliness and faith be gathered together in the heart of any servant."

نا عباد بن عباد ، عن محمد بن عمرو بن علقمة ، عن صفوان بن ابي يزيد ، عن حصين بن اللجلاج ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يجتمع الشح والإيمان في جوف رجل مسلم، ولا يجتمع غبار في سبيل الله ودخان جهنم في جوف رجل مسلم" .
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Miserliness and faith cannot coexist in the heart of a Muslim, nor can the dust from the path of Allah and the smoke of Hell.”
