كِتَابُ الْجِهَادِ
Book of Jihad
بَابُ مَنْ قَالَ الْإِمَامُ فِئَةُ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
Chapter on those who said: The Imam is the group of every Muslim
Hadith Number: 2539
نا خالد بن عبد الله ، عن يزيد بن ابي زياد ، عن عبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: لقينا العدو فحاص الناس حيصة فكنت فيمن حاص، فدخلنا المدينة فتعرضنا لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حين خرج إلى الصلاة، فقلنا: يا رسول الله! نحن الفرارون قال:" بل انتم العكارون، إني فئة لكم" .
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: We fought the enemy, and the people panicked and fled, and I was among them. Then we reached Madinah and met the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: We are those who fled. He (peace be upon him) said: "Rather, you are those who returned. I am a refuge for you."

نا نا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم، عن ابن ابي نجيح، عن مجاهد، قال: قال عمر : " انا فئة كل مسلم" .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I am a refuge for every Muslim."
