بَابُ الْقَوْمِ يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِي الْقَتِيلِ لِمَنْ يَكُونُ سَلَبُهُ
Chapter on a group disputing over a slain person—who gets his personal booty
Hadith Number: 2718
نا إسماعيل بن عياش ، قال: سالت حريز بن عثمان عن الرجل يقتل الرجل ويجهز عليه آخر، قال: " السلب للذي قتله إذا جرحه، وليس للذي اجهز عليه شيء ، كذلك قضى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في سلب ابي جهل".
Imam Harir bin Uthman (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "If a person wounds the enemy and another comes and kills him, then the spoils (salb) will belong to the one who wounded first, and the second will get nothing. This is the decision that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave regarding the spoils of Abu Jahl."

Hadith Number: 2719
نا إسماعيل بن عياش، عن هشام بن الغاز، عن مكحول، قال: " إذا قتل الرجل رجلا من العدو، واجهز عليه غيره، فسلبه لمن قتله، او عقره" .
Imam Mak'hool (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a person kills or wounds the enemy and another completes the attack on him, then the spoils will belong to the one who struck first."
