المُقَدِّمَةُ
Introduction
باب الاعتصام بالسنة وما يتعلق بها نقلا وأمرا وزجرا - ذكر البيان بأن كل من أحدث في دين الله حكما ليس مرجعه إلى الكتاب والسنة فهو مردود غير مقبول-
Chapter: Holding fast to the Sunnah – Clarification that any new ruling in religion not based on the Quran and Sunnah is rejected.
Hadith Number: 27
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، حدثنا محمد بن الصباح الدولابي ، حدثنا إبراهيم بن سعد ، حدثنا ابي ، عن القاسم بن محمد ، عن عائشة ، قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من احدث في امرنا هذا ما ليس منه، فهو رد" .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever introduces something new into this matter of ours (i.e., religion) which does not belong to it, then that thing will be rejected."
