باب فضل الإيمان - ذكر البيان بأن الواو الذي في خبر أبي ذر الذي ذكرناه ليس بواو وصل وإنما هو واو بمعنى ثم-

Hadith Number: 153
اخبرنا محمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة اللخمي بعسقلان، حدثنا ابن ابي السري ، حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، اخبرنا معمر ، عن الزهري ، عن سعيد بن المسيب ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: سال رجل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: يا رسول الله، اي العمل افضل؟ قال:" الإيمان بالله"، قال: ثم ماذا؟ قال:" ثم الجهاد في سبيل الله"، قال: ثم ماذا؟ قال:" ثم حج مبرور" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! Which deed is the most virtuous? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“To have faith in Allah.”He asked: Then which one? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Then striving in the way of Allah.”He asked: Then which one? He said:“Then a righteous Hajj.”
