باب فرض الإيمان - ذكر خبر أوهم عالما من الناس أن الإيمان هو الإقرار بالله وحده دون أن تكون الطاعات من شعبه-
Chapter: Obligation of Faith – A narration that may mislead some scholars into thinking faith is only belief in Allah without actions
Hadith Number: 171
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، حدثنا ابو خالد الاحمر ، عن ابي مالك الاشجعي ، قال: سمعت ابي ، يقول: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " من وحد الله وكفر بما يعبد من دونه، حرم ماله ودمه، وحسابه على الله" .
Abu Malik Ashja'i reports: I heard my father narrate that he said: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) say: "Whoever acknowledges the oneness of Allah and denies all those things that are worshipped besides Him, then the wealth and life of that person will be inviolable, and his reckoning will be with Allah."
