باب فرض الإيمان - ذكر إطلاق اسم الإيمان على من أتى بجزء من أجزاء شعب الإقرار-
Chapter: Obligation of Faith – Applying the name“faith”to one who fulfills a part of the branches of verbal declaration
Hadith Number: 178
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب ، حدثنا محمد بن كثير ، اخبرنا سفيان ، عن منصور ، عن ربعي ، عن علي ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا يؤمن العبد حتى يؤمن باربع: يشهد ان لا إله إلا الله، واني رسول الله، ويؤمن بالبعث بعد الموت، ويؤمن بالقدر" .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "A servant does not become a believer until he believes in four things. He bears witness that there is no deity except Allah, and indeed I am the Messenger of Allah, and he believes in being brought to life after death, and he believes in destiny."
