باب فرض الإيمان - ذكر إطلاق اسم الإيمان على من آمنه الناس على أنفسهم وأملاكهم-
Chapter: Obligation of Faith – Applying the name“faith”to one whom people trust with their lives and property
Hadith Number: 180
اخبرنا إسماعيل بن داود بن وردان بمصر، حدثنا عيسى بن حماد ، اخبرنا الليث ، عن ابن عجلان ، عن القعقاع بن حكيم ، عن ابي صالح ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده، والمؤمن من آمنه الناس على دمائهم واموالهم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe, and a believer is the one from whom others are safe regarding their lives and wealth."
