باب فرض الإيمان - ذكر إثبات الإسلام لمن سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده-
Chapter: Obligation of Faith – Affirmation of Islam for one from whom Muslims are safe from his tongue and hand
Hadith Number: 196
اخبرنا احمد بن يحيى بن زهير الحافظ بتستر، قال: حدثنا محمد بن العلاء بن كريب ، قال: حدثنا ابو معاوية ، قال: حدثنا داود بن ابي هند ، عن الشعبي ، قال: سمعت عبد الله بن عمرو ، ورب هذه البنية يعني الكعبة، يقول: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " المهاجر من هجر السيئات، والمسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده" .
Imam Sha'bi narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: By the Lord of this building. (He said this regarding the Ka'bah) I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The emigrant is the one who separates himself from sins. A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims remain safe."
