باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار عما يستحب للمرء من قبول ما رخص له بترك التحمل على النفس ما لا تطيق من الطاعات
Chapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – It is recommended to accept concessions and not overburden oneself with acts of obedience.
Hadith Number: 354
اخبرنا عبد الله بن احمد بن موسى ، قال: حدثنا الحسين بن محمد الذارع ، قال: حدثنا ابو محصن حصين بن نمير ، قال: حدثنا هشام بن حسان ، عن عكرمة ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إن الله يحب ان تؤتى رخصه، كما يحب ان تؤتى عزائمه" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty likes that His concession be accepted, just as He likes that His obligatory commands be acted upon."
