Chapter on Ties of Kinship and Severing Them – Good life and abundant provision for one who maintains family ties.
Hadith Number: 438
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا كامل بن طلحة الجحدري ، قال: حدثنا ليث بن سعد ، عن عقيل ، عن ابن شهاب ، انه سمع انس بن مالك ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من احب ان ينسا له في اجله، ويبسط له في رزقه، فليصل رحمه" .
Ibn Shihab narrates: He heard Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) stating that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes that his life be prolonged and his sustenance be increased, he should maintain the ties of kinship."
