باب الرحمة - ذكر الأمر للمرء أن يرحم أطفال المسلمين رجاء رحمة الله جل وعلا إياه
Chapter on Mercy – Command to show mercy to Muslim children, hoping for Allah’s mercy.
Hadith Number: 457
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، قال: اخبرنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: ابصر الاقرع بن حابس التميمي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقبل الحسن بن علي، فقال: إن لي عشرة من الولد، ما قبلت احدا منهم، فقال نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من لا يرحم لا يرحم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Aqra’ bin Habis Tamimi saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kissing Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: I have ten sons. I have never kissed any one of them. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.
