باب حسن الخلق - ذكر البيان بأن من خيار الناس من كان أحسن خلقا
Chapter on Good Character – The best people are those with the best character.
Hadith Number: 477
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن كثير العبدي ، قال: حدثنا سفيان الثوري ، عن الاعمش ، عن ابي وائل ، عن مسروق ، قال: قال عبد الله بن عمرو : إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، لم يكن فاحشا، ولا متفاحشا، وكان يقول: " خياركم احاسنكم اخلاقا" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did not use obscene language. He did not display foul speech. He used to say: "The best among you are those who have the best character."
