باب الجار - ذكر الزجر عن أذى الجيران إذ تركه من فعال المؤمنين
Chapter on the Neighbor – Warning against harming neighbors, as avoiding this is a trait of believers
Hadith Number: 516
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، قال: اخبرنا معمر ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر، فلا يؤذ جاره، ومن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر، فليكرم ضيفه، ومن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر، فليقل خيرا او ليصمت" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest, and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent."
