Chapter on Companionship and Sitting – Clarification that the questioner was asking about love for Allah and His Messenger
Hadith Number: 563
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا العباس بن الوليد النرسي ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن انس ، قال: قال رجل: يا رسول الله، متى الساعة؟ قال:" ما اعددت لها؟"، قال: إني احب الله ورسوله، قال:" فانت مع من احببت" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) come?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What have you prepared for it?" He replied, "I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will be with those whom you love."
