Chapter on Supplications – On the recommendation to entrust all matters to Allah while asking Him for all needs, big and small
Hadith Number: 894
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا قطن بن نسير ، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن سليمان ، قال: حدثنا ثابت ، عن انس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ليسال احدكم ربه حاجته كلها، حتى شسع نعله إذا انقطع" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every person should ask all his needs from his Lord, even if the strap of his sandal breaks, he should ask Allah Almighty for that as well."

اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى بخبر غريب، قال: حدثنا قطن بن نسير الصيرفي ، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن سليمان ، قال: حدثنا ثابت ، عن انس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ليسال احدكم ربه حاجته كلها، حتى شسع نعله إذا انقطع" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Each one of you should ask your Lord for your needs, even if the strap of your sandal breaks, he should ask Allah Almighty for it."
