Chapter on the Nullifiers of Ablution - Report that may mislead those unfamiliar with hadith science into thinking it contradicts the narration of Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami
Hadith Number: 1105
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا امية بن بسطام ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، قال: حدثنا روح بن القاسم ، عن ابن ابي نجيح ، عن عطاء ، عن إياس بن خليفة ، عن رافع بن خديج ، ان عليا امر عمارا ان يسال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن المذي، فقال: " يغسل مذاكيره ويتوضا" .
Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) instructed Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) to ask the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about madhi (pre-seminal fluid), so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That person should wash his private part and perform ablution.
