Chapter on Nullifiers of Ablution – Report that may mislead the unskilled in hadith science into thinking ablution after eating camel meat is not obligatory
Hadith Number: 1131
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل ابن علية ، عن ايوب ، عن وهب بن كيسان ، عن محمد بن عمرو بن عطاء ، عن ابن عباس :" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اكل من كتف، او قال: تعرق من ضلع، ثم صلى ولم يتوضا" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ate the meat of the animal's shoulder (the narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words) or ate the meat of the ribs, then he performed prayer and did not perform ablution again.
