Chapter on Ghusl – Clarification that ghusl is required after ejaculation even if penetration did not occur
Hadith Number: 1164
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، قال: اخبرنا عبدة بن سليمان ، عن سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، ان ام سليم ، سالت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن المراة ترى في منامها ما يرى الرجل؟ قال: " إذا انزلت المراة، فلتغتسل" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about a woman who sees in a dream what a man sees (i.e., the woman experiences a wet dream). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a woman has an emission, she should perform ghusl (ritual bath).
