Chapter on Ghusl – The Prophet’s practice of an act he later permitted to be omitted
Hadith Number: 1175
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا محمود بن خالد ، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن كثير القارئ الدمشقي ، عن الاوزاعي ، قال: حدثني عبد الرحمن بن القاسم ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة : انها سئلت عن الرجل يجامع فلا ينزل الماء، قالت:" فعلت ذلك انا، ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فاغتسلنا منه جميعا" .
It is narrated about Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was asked about a person who has intercourse but does not ejaculate. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) replied: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and I used to do so, but we both would perform ghusl (ritual bath) in that case.
