Chapter on Rules for the Junub – Number of wives the Prophet (peace be upon him) would visit with one ghusl
Hadith Number: 1208
اخبرنا ابن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، قال: حدثنا معاذ بن هشام ، قال: حدثني ابي ، عن قتادة ، عن انس بن مالك ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم انه:" كان يدور على نسائه في ساعة من الليل او النهار، وهن إحدى عشرة"، فقلت لانس بن مالك: اكان يطيق ذلك؟ قال:" كنا نتحدث انه اعطي قوة ثلاثين" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates about the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that at any time during the night or day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit all his wives. The number of those wives was eleven. The narrator says: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) have that much strength? So Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: We used to talk among ourselves that he was given the strength of thirty (30) men.
