Wiping over leather socks and similar: Mentioning the time limits for wiping for residents and travelers
Hadith Number: 1328
اخبرنا القطان بالرقة، حدثنا عمر بن يزيد السياري ، حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي ، حدثنا المهاجر ابو مخلد ، عن عبد الرحمن بن ابي بكرة ، عن ابيه ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، " وقت في المسح على الخفين ثلاثة ايام ولياليهن للمسافر، وللمقيم يوما وليلة" .
Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakrah narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prescribed the duration for wiping over the leather socks as three days and three nights for a traveler, and one day and one night for a resident.
