باب النجاسة وتطهيرها - ذكر البيان بأن قول عائشة فأتبعه الماء أرادت به رشه عليه
Impurity and its purification: Clarifying that Aisha's phrase "follow it with water" means sprinkling it
Hadith Number: 1373
اخبرنا محمد بن احمد بن ابي عون الرياني ، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي عمر العدني ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله ، عن ام قيس بنت محصن الاسدية ، قالت:" دخلت بابن لي لم ياكل الطعام إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فبال عليه، فدعا بماء، فرشه عليه" .
Sayyida Umm Qais bint Mihsan Asadiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I brought my child, who did not eat food yet, to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He urinated on you, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) called for water and sprinkled it over the spot.
