Impurity and its purification: Refuting those who claim the 'Uraniyyin were allowed camel urine only for treatment, not because it is pure
Hadith Number: 1389
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا غسان بن الربيع ، عن حماد بن سلمة ، عن سماك بن حرب ، عن علقمة بن وائل، عن طارق بن سويد الحضرمي ، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، إن بارضنا اعنابا نعتصرها، ونشرب منها، قال:" لا تشرب"، قلت: افنشفي بها المرضى؟ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إنما ذلك داء، وليس بشفاء" .
Sayyiduna Tariq bin Suwayd Hazrami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! There are grapes in our area. We squeeze them and drink it." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not drink it." I submitted, "Can we use it as medicine for our sick?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is a disease, not a cure."
