باب المساجد - ذكر خبر أوهم عالما من الناس أن شد المرء الرحلة إلى مسجد غير المساجد الثلاث التي ذكرناها غير جائز
Chapter on Mosques - Report that might mislead some into thinking traveling to other than the three mosques is not allowed.
Hadith Number: 1619
اخبرنا محمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة ، حدثنا محمد بن ابي السري ، قال: حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، قال: حدثنا معمر ، عن الزهري ، عن سعيد بن المسيب ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تشد الرحال إلا إلى ثلاثة مساجد، مسجد الحرام، ومسجدي هذا، والمسجد الاقصى" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Journeys should only be undertaken towards three mosques: Al-Masjid Al-Haram, this mosque of mine, and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa."
