باب الأذان - ذكر إيجاب الشفاعة في القيامة لمن سأل الله جل وعلا لصفيه صلى الله عليه وسلم المقام المحمود عند الأذان يسمعه
Chapter on Adhan - Promise of intercession on the Day of Judgment for one who asks Allah for the Prophet’s praised station after hearing the adhan.
Hadith Number: 1689
اخبرنا ابن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، قال: حدثنا علي بن عياش ، قال: حدثنا شعيب بن ابي حمزة ، عن محمد بن المنكدر ، عن جابر ، قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من قال حين يسمع النداء: اللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة، والصلاة القائمة، آت محمدا الوسيلة والفضيلة، وابعثه المقام المحمود الذي وعدته، إلا حلت له الشفاعة يوم القيامة" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“Whoever, after hearing the call to prayer (adhan), recites these words: ‘O Allah! Lord of this perfect call and the prayer to be established, grant Muhammad (peace be upon him) the means and virtue, and raise him to the praised station which You have promised him,’ (the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, says) then my intercession will become obligatory for that person on the Day of Resurrection.”
