Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – On what is recited in Dhuhr prayer
Hadith Number: 1824
اخبرنا عبد الله بن قحطبة ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن معمر ، قال: حدثنا روح بن عبادة ، قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن قتادة ، وثابت ، وحميد ، عن انس ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، انهم" كانوا يسمعون منه في الظهر النغمة ب: سبح اسم ربك الاعلى، و هل اتاك حديث الغاشية" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates about the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): During the Zuhr prayer, the people would hear the soft recitation of Surah Al-A'la and Surah Al-Ghashiyah from the tongue of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
