باب صفة الصلاة - ذكر خبر ثان قد يوهم من لم يحكم صناعة العلم أنه مضاد للخبرين الأولين اللذين ذكرناهما
Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – Another report that may mislead some into thinking it contradicts the previous two narrations
Hadith Number: 1886
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا القعنبي ، قال: حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد ، عن شريك بن ابي نمر ، انه سمع انس بن مالك ، يقول:" ما صليت وراء احد قط اخف صلاة من صلاة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ولا اتم، وإن كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يسمع بكاء الصبي وراءه، فيخفف مخافة ان تفتن امه" .
Shareek bin Abu Numair narrates: He heard Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) saying, "I have not performed prayer behind anyone who offered a prayer more concise and more complete than the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Sometimes the Prophet (peace be upon him) would hear the sound of a child crying behind him, so he would shorten the prayer, fearing that the child's mother might fall into trial."
