باب صفة الصلاة - ذكر الإباحة للمرء أن يقول في الموضع الذي ذكرناه بدون ما وصفنا
Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – Permissibility of saying less than what was described in this position
Hadith Number: 1908
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن انس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا قال الإمام: سمع الله لمن حمده، فقولوا: ربنا ولك الحمد" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Imam says «سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَہ» , you should say, 'O Allah! Our Lord, all praise is exclusively for You.'"
