Chapter on the Obligation of Congregation and Excuses Permitting Its Omission - The reason for prohibiting those who eat these plants from attending congregation
Hadith Number: 2090
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، قال: اخبرنا وهب بن جرير ، قال: حدثنا هشام الدستوائي ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من اكل من هذه الشجرة المنتنة فلا يقربن مسجدنا، فإن الملائكة تتاذى مما يتاذى منه الناس" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats from this odorous tree (its fruit), let him not come near our mosque, for the angels are harmed by that which harms human beings."
